blue's characterization of yukio is always so heartbreakingly poignant. this is beautifully written as always, so vivid and quietly moving, every edge of yukio illustrated here all raw. few writers in this fandom capture the feeling of depression especially for yukio and bluewindfall just understands and writes it wonderfully.

i left the above prompt on threesentenceficathon and by GOD did queenslayerbee deliver with this one!!!!! i love their take on rose and the setting of them sharing a team, how cass still sees rose for who she used to be and is still haunted by (her relationship with) steph and rose digs into that. rose is all sharp edges and brushes up against cass until she bristles and i just LOVE how that dynamic is captured here.

i fucking LOVE loona-verse character studies & explorations and this being about hyeju is even better because I FUCKING LOVE LOONA-VERSE HYEJU. the biblical imagery and references here fit perfectly with the source material which also loved to pull from the bible, and the author's prose around it is just so stunning and vivid.

fun fact about me i was really into my hero academia back in middle school until i kinda grew out of it. but i was insane about togachako in 2018 before it was cool to be insane about togachako and so seeing togachako fic written by my friend seabirds made me feel just as giddy as middle school me did from the few togachako works she came across. this is GUTWRENCHING and BITTERSWEET -- such a beautiful twist on their relationship through a role-swap.

also written by a friend! oshi no ko is something i still have yet to finish (last read the manga like... a year or two ago, oops) but i always had a soft spot for kana and especially loved how much this friend loves kana. this is a set of vignettes about kana and her relationship with others, including aqua and akane, and it so wonderfully captures kana's personality and how it intersects and often pushes against others.
