Kuvira rules the Earth Empire. When Korra comes to negotiate for peace, things get messy quickly.
sacred dislocations of mind -i loveee this kinda au where the villain shows up bleeding out on the doorstep and the hero has to care for them. always fun. this one was great!
Kuvira comes back, and it's as if she never left.
all ablaze with light -this one's so sweet! i love this childhood friends au and how in character kuvira feels despite the lack of fascist tendencies lol
Korra knows her own mind, and at fourteen she finally convinces the Order of the White Lotus that she needs a friend. The result? Kuvira comes to live with her in the compound at the South Pole. They quickly become best friends, but it takes a wintertime camping trip for them to really consider any other feelings they may have...
a taste ironic -this was so INTENSE and SWEET and DRAMATIC and i loved every bit of it to the point where i read all ~80,000 words in one sitting. it's that good. kuvira's guilt is palpable and korrasami's collective problems with each other and kuvira as the one in the middle is such a wonderful triangle. the drama is believable and the plot is intriguing and well crafted.
There's trouble in the Fire Nation, and Korra and Asami bring Kuvira along to help fix it.
For Kuvira, there's only two problems: she feels crushing guilt from her time as the Great Uniter, and she's grown feelings for both Korra and Asami that she can't seem to shake.

raava's favorite prophet -MINDBLOWING. what a creative and brilliant AU. kuvira is so delicate here and the prose is poetic and i don't want to spoil what this au really is. it's beautifully and hotly written and just excellent work all around. a delight to read.
